VPNs for ad-blocking Episodes of House of the Dragon will begin streaming from 11:00AM AEST every Monday on Binge and Foxtel Now, starting today (the 22nd of August 2022). There will be 10 episodes in total for this first season which, foregoing any mid-season breaks, should take us up to the 24th of October for the tenth and final episode of the first season. Here’s what time fans from across Australia’s various timezones will be able to watch it:
AWST (Perth): 9:00AM AWST ACST (Adelaide): 10:30AM ACST ACWST (Eucla): 9:45AM ACWST
That is at least until the first season is complete. After that, in late October 2022, every episode of the first season will become available to purchase or rent through most major digital platforms (iTunes, Google Play etc.). Foxtel Now’s pricing and plan structure is a little different from most streaming services and more closely resembles that of a traditional Foxtel subscription. It’s cheaper than standard Foxtel but still the most expensive streaming option in Australia, starting at $25 per month for the basic channel pack and costing as high as $104 per month for all packs included. The service offers a free 10-day trial and no contract so you’re free to cancel Foxtel Now whenever you see fit. There’s also a limited-time deal on Foxtel Now for the launch of House of the Dragon that gets you all channel packs for $25 per month for the first three months, effectively saving you $237 all up. While the Game of Thrones prequel will be available to stream via Binge and Foxtel Now, Australia’s premier Pay TV service is the only place you’ll be able to find the series in ultra high-definition. At least, until it gets a 4K Blu-Ray release. Check out the table below to find out how Binge and Foxtel Now compare with other Australian streaming services.
