One of the only performance oddities is that scrolling up is noticeably louder than scrolling down. Razer Synapse 3 is the latest version of the Razer software that pairs well with the Razer Viper Ultimate. There are rare times when the Viper Ultimate doesn’t show up in Synapse, but docking then undocking usually fixes that. Otherwise, when it’s working normally, use Synapse to switch profiles, left- or right-handed mouse use, and button functions on the Viper Ultimate (or any other compatible Razer mouse). You can also tweak sensitivity and polling rate in a dedicated tab, as well as lighting and power options. If you don’t like the (admittedly great) calibration out of the box, use Synapse to configure the Viper Ultimate to your mousepad… or, if you’re a mouse heathen, whatever non-mousepad surface you really shouldn’t be using.
