Its Best Fit program means Reach will never charge you for data you don’t use. That’s so refreshing, right? On top of that, Reach also matches 10% of your data usage and donates it to women and students in need through its “Get a plan, Give a plan” charity program. Plus, you can expect competitive prices, no contracts, and the reliability of T-Mobile’s network with Reach Mobile. So is it right for you? Let’s dig in and find out. The biggest downside to an MVNO is that your data might be deprioritized, meaning you’ll see slower mobile internet speeds. But this tends to happen during busy times of the day, so you can expect zippy 4G LTE or even 5G speeds otherwise. Reach also makes sure its monthly charges are fair and square, meaning you won’t pay for extra data you didn’t use. Let’s say you pick Reach’s 10 GB plan but used only 2 GB last month. Instead of charging you the 10 GB plan price, Reach charges you the 2 GB plan price. Why can’t more cell phone companies be like that? Reach’s Best Fit plans let you pay only for the data you use each month. So if you only use 2 GB of data, you’ll pay the 2 GB plan price. Each plan comes with a hotspot plus international roaming in more than 135 countries.

However, we doubt many folks will need that much data each month. Most of us use about 11 GB of data each month on average. That’s because the Best Fit plans charge you only for the data you use. So if you sign up for the Best Fit 10 GB plan, you’ll pay the price of the Best Fit 2 GB plan if you use only 2 GB of data or less in a month. You also get an extra 5 GB of data to share each month if you add three or more lines to your Best Fit plan. So if you’re a parent sharing Reach’s 10 GB plan with an app happy teen, you won’t get 10 GB of your own data to use each month. (And you may end up not even seeing half of that data either, if your teen is glued to their phone.) But maybe you like to stream videos on your train ride to work or get stuck sitting on the toilet playing Candy Crush. (Hey, 64% of Americans admit to it.) In that case, one of these other family plans or Reach’s unlimited plan might offer a better bang for your buck. And don’t forget that Reach will automatically swap you to a lower-cost (or higher-cost) plan depending on how much data you actually use during the month. So if you’re watching those gigabytes, your bill can get cheaper. That means you should get service almost anywhere in the US.  If you do want to buy a phone from Reach, they offer a range of affordable devices. None of these phones will knock your socks off in terms of features, but it beats paying upwards of $1200 for a new phone.  Check out some of the most popular devices folks buy from Reach: 95% of folks who reviewed it said their service was excellent, noting that Reach’s customer support team is very responsive and helpful. And we’re happy to see that Reach is actively responding to customer comments on Trustpilot—even the unhappy comments.

Cell phone plans: You might find cheaper plans, but Reach Mobile’s plans and prices offer good value and use T-Mobile’s top-notch 5G network. We only wish Reach offered more than 25 GB of full-speed data each month. Family cell phone plans: Reach’s Best Fit plans are a money-saver’s dream. You can sign up for however much data you want, but Reach will charge you only for the amount of data you use each month. So if you end up using less, you’ll pay for the cheaper plan. Cell phones and devices: You won’t find the newest phones directly from Reach, but you can always buy a phone somewhere else and insert the SIM card. Customer service: Other wireless providers better take note, because Reach Mobile has excellent customer service agents. And that’s according to the folks who rated it 4.9 stars out of 5 on Trustpilot.

While you still get the full amount of data you pay for each month, Reach matches 10% of that data and donates through its Get a plan, Give a plan program. The data is then shared with women and students in need that are associated with Reach’s partners. Partners across the US, Mexico, and India include LIFT, Yuva Unstoppable, Partnering Hope Into Action Foundation, Pro Mujer, and Light Up. These charitable organizations work to connect those in need to online information and opportunities, including education, job interviews, and learning new skills like sustainable farming.
