Launched in August 2021, Paramount+ is Paramount’s attempt to zig where Disney and others have chosen to zag. It doesn’t have the pop culture behemoths like Game of Thrones, Marvel or Star Wars nor does it have the volume of original content found with Netflix. Still, the eclectic mix of everything here means that there’s probably something for everyone to be found on the service if you look hard enough. If you’ve not tasted what Paramount+ has to offer before, the upshot is that you can sigh up for a seven free day trial and see just how much the service has to offer for yourself. If the new Hellraiser is the only thing of interest to you, you’ve got plenty of time to cancel before you get charged for your first month. If you’ve already burned your free trial in the past, now’s as good a time as any to note that Paramount+ is far from the most expensive streaming service around.
