After a decade and a half of strained family dynamics and scripted-not-scripted drama, you would think the family would be looking forward to some time away from the cameras and flashing lights. But in the end, the Keeping Up finale turned out to be less of a farewell to audiences and more of a classy breakup with E! Entertainment, the home network of the long-running series. Almost as soon as the final episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired, a sleek reboot of the series was announced for Hulu, simply named The Kardashians. It was kind of like throwing yourself a farewell party only to move to a bigger house two doors down. With one season under their Balenciaga belt, The Kardashians are drop their second season in September. As per usual, there’s a lot to catch up on. Kim recently split with Pete Davidson after a whirlwind romance that involved regrettable tattoos and the vengeful spirit of Yeezy’s past and launched her own pair of wireless earbuds. And that was all in one week of just one of the Kardashians lives. Needless to say, there’s plenty of material to cover this season. All ten episodes of The Kardashians Season 1 are already available to stream on Disney+ but there’s second season coming in hot.
